In the past I have focused on figurative, naïve and a more impressionist style of work. Recently I have branched out to what may be considered more abstract realism. I continue to hone my skills and have found my passion lies more in the Australian landscape In these landscapes I love the color, serenity and the ruggedness and find many similarities with those of Italy and France.
I am constantly experimenting with color, style and conceptual ideas. The use of color in my paintings is the key way in which I express my impressions and insight into all these landscapes and to some extent defines my story telling in my work. My cultural heritage has considerable influence on my painting and to a great extent serves as my inspiration in use of color and subject.
