Roger Swainston

Roger is recognized as one of the foremost marine life artists in the world. With a breadth of experience unequalled in his field and with more than 25 years of artistic and scientific endeavour, his paintings are renown around the world for their accuracy and vibrancy.

In recent years Roger has continued to push scientific illustration to its limits, with life size portraits of individual fish, intimate studies of their surface, form and function. He also has an ongoing project to survey a series of sites along the Ningaloo Reef and capture them as panoramic underwater scenes, containing all the abundance and diversity to be found there.
